First off, the rankings are based on foods consumed alone in a fasted state. No, it basically has no practical relevance to your program at all, and the only thing to worry about when it comes to proper carbohydrate intake is to simply stick to minimally refined sources and to get in a couple servings of fruits and vegetables per day.
