NIKU X NYC offers a 780 sa.ft. intimate private event space, located at 2W. 35th Street in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. From the charm of our Japanese lounge setting, Niku X creates an ambiance that effortlessly marries natural elements with modern sophistication. Executive Chef Tetsuya Nagaura serves up a high quality menu featuring A5 Wagyu steak, premium seafood, luxurious sides, and beverage. Director Octavio Luna curates a diverse selection of wine, beer, and cocktails.

Event pricing
time minimums
We offer a 3-hour minimum dining experience, that includes 2-hours of unlimited food and a 3-hour open bar. Guests are welcome to book additional time for an upcharge please contact us for more details for events longer than 3 hours.

Our private lounge offers food and beverage packages, in lieu of a room rental fee.
Our spending minimums are as follows:
MONDAYS TO THURSDAYS 5:00PM-10:00PM Minimum spending is $1,500
FRIDAYS TO SUNDAYS 5:00PM-11:00PM Minimum Spending is $2,000
The total price of your event will be dependant on the total number of guests, the day of the week, the food and beverage packages you select,and tax,service fees, and gratuity.

Food & Beverage Minimums
We do not charge a room fee for reservations, however there are food and beverage minimums, as outlined in the details above.
Beverage Options: Guests are welcome to select one of our Bar Packages as outlined above, or to serve all beverages to be charged based on consumption.
Administrative Fee
We charge a 5% administrative fee to offset costs associated with the administration of your event. The administrative fee is not a gratuity and is not paid to the employees who provide service during your Event. The administrative fee is a taxable charge.
Sales Tax NY
State Tax in the amount of 8.875% will be calculated on all food and beverage charges, and administrative fee. Clients requesting tax exempt status are required to submit a copy of their registered exemption certification prior to the Event.
Gratuity and Staffing
We will staff your event based on the final guest count (due 4 days prior to the event date). The contracted event total does include a 25% gratuity.
Deposits & Cancellation
A signed contract and 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the date. Cancellations within forty-eight (48) hours of the event date are subject to the full charge of the contracted event.
Menu Selection
A finalized menu selection is due 14 days prior to the event date.
Outside Catering
Outside catering is not permitted without prior approval, and may be subject to an additional fee. Cakes are permitted at no charge.
Event End Time
Please be prepared to vacate your Event space no later than the End time in your Event contract, to not interfere with our ability to seat and/or serve incoming guests. We charge an Overtime Charge of $1000 per hour, or any fraction thereof, past your Event end time that your guests remain in the Event space.
Payment Terms
The remaining balance is due and payable before conclusion of the event by cash or credit card.

What kinds of events do you host?
We can host a wide range of events, including corporate functions, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, cocktail receptions for holidays and weddings. We are happy to host ticketed events for content creators, event curators, and brands. Our team is here to help bring your vision to life.

How do I book an event?
Submit a request through our website to start the process. An event booking is confirmed when a signed proposal is sent back to us along with a 50% deposit for your event.
Can we order à la carte?
In order to best execute your event, we require all parties select one of our event menus.
Can we bring outside food & beverage?
Outside food is not permitted without prior approval.

Can we bring decorations?
Decorations are permitted when hosting a private event, with the exception of glitter/confetti, open-flamed candles, and LED lights.
What A/V capabilities do you offer?
Currently we offer a projector set up for presentations. We do not offer mics or DJ equipment.
